Finca Almendra nestles in the tranquility of the foothills of the Sierra Tejeda Natural Park, one of Spain’s prime walking regions, and overlooks the delightful white village of Sayalonga and down to the Mediterranean.

Finca Almendra lies between Sayalonga and Corumbela reached via a part concreted  track and is within thirty minutes of the coast and beaches of the Costa del Sol approximately one hour’s drive from Malaga airport.

A local taxi service is available.

Our climate and location make Finca Almendra a perfect year round base for out of season walking, bird watching, pony trekking exploring the ‘real Spain’ in the stunning scenery of this part of Andalucia, as well as for a traditional summer holiday.

The area offers many activities and places to visit. There is golf at nearby Caleta, as well as the beach, and a leisurely lunch can be enjoyed sampling tapas or local dishes at Caleta port. The coast and beaches of Torre del Mar, Aquavelis water park and Nerja, with its famous caves, are within easy reach.

The Moorish white villages of  Competa, Canillas, Corumbela, Archez and Sedella offer plenty of interesting buildings, shopping, tapas bars and restaurants.

The local markets capture the flavour of the area as well as the unmissable fiestas during the summer. Local crafts and produce such as honey, olive oil and the area’s famous Muscat wine can be purchased in the villages too.

The tranquil splendour of the immediate surroundings can be left for a visit to the Alhambra at Granada, Sol y Nieve in the Sierra Nevada for winter skiing, Ronda or the resorts of the western Costa del Sol which are approximately 2 hours away.

Looking for a self catering villa holiday which offers a holiday home with a pool, close to the beaches of the Costa del Sol, golf and also a walker’s paradise?  Then we offer this and more.
